BECOMING A CLIENT

Below is a step-by-step guide of our onboarding process.

Step 1: Schedule a Pre-Engagement Consultation

The first step in becoming a client is scheduling a pre-engagement consultation. This allows us to gather important background information, assess your horse’s current needs, and determine whether our services are the right fit.

This initial step helps us begin with intention, clarity, and the horse’s best interest at the center of every recommendation.

Complete and sign the pre-engagement consultation agreement prior to your consultation.

Step 2: Attend the Consultation

Ensure you complete and sign the pre-engagement consultation agreement prior to your scheduled consultation.

 

During the consultation, we evaluate your horse’s individual circumstances, hoof care history, current condition, workload, and any relevant soundness or management considerations.

Depending on the case, collaboration with your veterinarian may be required to ensure the most appropriate and effective path forward.

Step 3: Receive a Recommended Service Package

Based on the consultation, the farrier will recommend the service package best suited to your horse’s needs. This recommendation is made carefully and professionally, with consideration for both immediate requirements and long-term hoof health.

Recommended packages may include services such as:

  • Barefoot Trimming

  • Routine Shoeing

  • Performance Shoeing

  • Corrective or Therapeutic Shoeing

Step 4: Review & Select Your Membership

Alongside your service package recommendation, we will provide a recommended membership level based on the level of support, scheduling priority, and case management your horse may benefit from.

While this recommendation is made professionally and with your horse’s needs in mind, the final membership selection is always made by the client.

Available membership options include:

​

  • Bronze – Base membership

  • Silver – $50/month

  • Gold – $100/month

​

Step 5: Complete Your Client Agreement

If you decide to move forward, you will complete and sign a client agreement outlining service terms, pricing, membership selection, and practice policies.

At this stage, you will confirm:

  • Your selected service package

  • Your chosen membership level

  • Acknowledgment of pricing and policies

  • Agreement to timely monthly membership payments, if applicable

Step 6: Begin Ongoing Service

Once your agreement is complete, you will be welcomed as a client and scheduled according to your selected package and membership level.

From there, care moves forward with a structured plan designed to support your horse’s soundness, comfort, and long-term success.
